Overview:
This project was for a Dungeons and Dragons-themed Youtube Channel that specializes in D&D content. The clients wanted a fantasy-related logo mark that incorporated a mythical creature. Since the logo would be viewed at such a small size as the profile icon on the channel, we wanted to go with something simple and bold so no detail would be lost due to the size. They wanted the branding to be playful, mystical, and fun, as that's what D&D is all about.
Solution:
After brainstorming, the clients decided on a logo that would consist of a dragon wearing a wizard hat. After drafting multiple concepts, we settled on one and tried a few colorways in the flesh of the dragon and its hat. For the banner designs, we went with a mythical scene that showed the entrance to the dungeon and the dragon's smoke billowing out of it. We kept the pallet simple across all elements with most emphasis on the green and purple.
